Sing to the Lord a New Song

This ministry exists to facilitate and encourage great worship and praise of Jesus Christ. We seek to edify people and testify to the truth of the Gospel through creatively presenting musical offerings that reflect the highest level of preparation and divine enablement. Our motto is, "excellence in all things, and all things to the glory of God."

Our worship gatherings include a variety of musical and non-musical expressions, both familiar and new, as we pursue excellence in praising God. At each worship event, one can expect music presented by accomplished players and singers who possess commitment to the arts and dedication to Christ.

God's beautiful gift of music gives our innermost thoughts and feelings expression that otherwise might be impossible. Join us as we sing and play to the "praise of His Glory."

Sanctuary Choir, Hallelujah Choir, and Sanctuary Chamber Singers lead in worship on Sunday mornings and for special FBC events.  These groups sing a remarkable repertoire chosen and prepared to bring glory to Almighty God.  Rehearsals are filled with great music-making, fellowship, and prayer as both the mind AND the heart are engaged in preparations and worship.

Micah joined the staff at FBC in April 2022. He has been leading worship for the last 20 years, but outside of that is always tinkering around on an instrument or writing a song. When he's not playing music he loves video games and anything outdoors. He's been married to his wife Sarah (a trauma nurse) since 2013 and they have one daughter, Emma Claire.
