COVID-19 RESPONSE
Keep up with the latest news regarding how FBC is responding to COVID-19, and how you can help.
What to Expect
We will return to in-person worship (again) on Sunday, February 14th. Our staff put together an instructional -- and light-hearted -- video about what to expect when we return.
Missions Update
Unprecedented times call us again to care for our neighbors, community, and ourselves. In light of COVID-19, we are challenged to truly be the church at the heart of the city, to unite in love, to support the vulnerable, to be resilient forces for good.

Some of the ways we as a church are mobilizing in terms of missions:
-
We have donated over 7,000 masks to Huntsville medical professionals, Huntsville City Schools, and Manna House.
-
We've paired 40 of our members to over 400 of our experienced adults for weekly check-ins and groceries.
-
We are supporting and encouraging 30 of our MD's, RN's, and medical personnel through prayer, notes, and supplies such as goggles and masks.
-
We are making financial contributions to local organizations such as Manna House.
-
We are making financial contributions to our partners in New York City, Graffiti Church, as well as our mission partners in Uganda and Belgium. They are all offering essential care at the epicenter of the breakout.
-
We have created a grant for members who have lost income due to COVID-19. If you have lost income, please reach out to Scott.
-
We are hosting free Covid-19 testing through Thrive Alabama.
-
We are praying for our city, our community, our country, and our world!
What You Can Do
If you wish to financially give, donations can be addressed to FBC and marked ‘Benevolence.' Or you can do it through the link here. If using the link, in the "Select a Fund" drop-down, choose "Benevolence."

Other ways to support:
-
Sew masks for area hospitals. For more information, see below.

-
Reach out to individuals in your neighborhood who might need help during this time (see below).
-
Support local businesses.
-
Routinely check-in on each other.
Often unprecedented days lead to unprecedented levels of anxiety and isolation. Through this storm, let us remember that we are all in this together!
