What is Serving the City as ONE?
Serving the City is an annual event to bring the churches of
Greater Huntsville and the surrounding communities together to visibly demonstrate the love of Christ through united prayer, a day of serving in the community, and celebrating together God’s goodness.

Typically we have over 2,000 Christians from over 70 congregations working in over 225 projects.
Projects include:
  • Home Maintenance and Repair
  • Yard Work
  • AGENCY Opportunities:  Hope Place, National Children’s Advocacy Center, 305 Eighth St, Manna House, Food Bank
  • Packing Goody Baskets
  • Lakewood School Projects
  • Sewing
  • Letter Writing
  • Empowered to Connect Conference
  • Prayer Walking the Neighborhood
Families and Children - We have a place for YOU in the Serving the City!
Our children and families are reaching into our neighborhood to minister to the medical community in a variety of ways this year.
Little Bags from Little Hands - for Mission Friends/Parents
Bring your child ages 3-5 and participate in packing small bags for the Huntsville Hospital Waiting room. Items will include a parking token, peanut butter crackers, gum, etc.
Bears for Kids - for GA's/Moms
GA's and their moms will partner together with SILK to sew and stuff teddy bears for the Huntsville Hospital Pediatric ER. This will be a wonderful multi-generational event!
Dirt, Digging and Dads - for RA's/Dads
RA boys and their dads will go to the Blount House near Huntsville Hospital and help with basic landscaping and planting flowers for the spring. The Blount House provides affordable housing to family members with patients in care at Huntsville Hospital.
Sign up for these three family/child service opportunities on Mosaic.
